Summer 2024:
The Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division (CRD) is excited to announce the 2024 Crime Records Conferences that will be hosted throughout the state this summer! The courses are designed for anyone who works with CRD and will provide a variety of topics to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Subjects include the following:
• CJIS Security
• Incident Based Reporting
• Sex Offender Registration
• Non-Criminal Justice Information
• Texas Crime Information Center
• Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunication System
• Criminal History Reporting
• Proper Fingerprinting Techniques
• Biometrics

Registration is free, but space is limited! Costs for meals, travel, and lodging are the responsibility of the attendee. If you are planning to stay at the conference hotel, DPS has negotiated a reduced rate with select hotels for a block of rooms, which will be able to be booked with the link provided on the registration website. There is limited space for the conference so plan ahead!

Registration:
- Attendees can register for a single class or up to the full conference agenda.
- Registration is free, but space is limited so plan ahead!!

- ***DPS is seeking TCOLE accreditation for courses, but cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellations:
- There are NO substitutions.
- In the event you are unable to attend, you must cancel your reservation, so our team can maintain an accurate count of attendees.
